Teddy Gipson
Born
May 13, 1948 in Conroe, TX. His brothers James,
Elmer, and Billy were singers. People told Teddy that his
dad, Ted Gipson, Sr. could really "croon." Teddy got the
singing bug while he was in the Army. The group was
named "The Motivations," and constituted, Bernard Mangam, David White,
Nathaniel Holmes, and Jerry Moteley. They had their own weekly
TV show. The Motivations toured across the USA.
After the break-up of the group, Teddy took a sabbatical
for awhile. Upon returning to music, Teddy
began to sing in choirs, direct choirs, and perform with
bands. The dream to sing was rekindled on the
day that he met LOVE. This driving force (love) brought
out the best in him.
Teddy has been asked
many times, "Why did you wait so late to start recording
music?" His response has always been, "You don't know LOVE."

Dave Harris

Dave Harris created
the group, SOUND DOCTRINE,™ in order to launch new
talent into the Contemporary Inspirational Music genre.
He became interested
in music at the age of three. At age four, his dad
(Henry Harris) bought him a set of drums. This
positive experience sparked the catalyst for a life long

first band of its kind in the history of the school).
His major instrument was the Baritone Saxophone.
During his college years, at Prairie View A&M University, he
played drums in the marching, concert, and military
bands. Dave is a great talent and band leader.

with such greats as Don Paterson, Sonny Stitt, Jimmy
Ponder, Joe Thomas, Clifford Adams, Michael Ray (Kool
and The Gang), Harry
"Joe Ski" Williams, Sylvester Ba`ton, Nadir
